I messed up and did cocaine for the first time on Saturday.

Customer Question

I messed up and did cocaine for the first time on Saturday. Should I be worried about any long term effects/permanent effects? I plan never to do this again.
JA: It's hard to know for sure. The doctor will figure it out. Is this a time sensitive issue? What type of specimen are they testing?
Customer: I'm not being tested I'm just worried about my own health.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: No. I'm extremely healthy

Hello and welcome. I'm Dr Chip

Nothing really to worry about here. Cocaine raises the blood pressure and heart rate for a time but as long as you're doing fine now, no damage done. Long term use puts one at risk for heart damage or heart attack or stroke, but a one time usage really doesn't harm you.

Please let me know if you need any more information

That's a relief but I was wondering more on the lines of psychological effects.. How long the withdrawals last after one use
Expert:  tazechip replied 10 months ago.

There really isn't much in the way of withdrawal symptoms except for fatigue and sleepiness for a day.

Psychologically really except for the high feeling, once you come down, there's no permanent damage.
