Customer Question

I am a 37 yr old female.I was diagnosed c SLE, CFS,FMS IBD, DDD, (at 12 yrs old by quit a quite a few specialists in Northen) Severe Chronic Migraines (since age 8 ) endometriosis, ect. I've been seeing the same Rheumatologist for a few yrs (have know him for at least 12yrs). When I returned as a patient he did an Ameritox UA. It was fine. He did another in Nov & it came back saying I had no Oxycodone in my system!????When I looked at the page it said I had 98 &100 was the # to be at or something. SO clearly I had it in me. He also knew I'd had a recent fall & was hurting a lot!! IHe told me to take what I need on I'm prescribed 10mg 5 times a day. However; he told me numerous times to only take what I need certain days so that on sever pain days I'd have more. He isn't very good at documenting these things though.. Or a lot of needed things! His office manager has told me she's spoken to him about about this.
I feel as though I am being punished for something & I did nothing wro

What is your medical question?

Why would my Oxycodone NOT show.up in an Ameritox drug test?
Expert:  DrRussMd replied 2 years ago.
There are only a limited number of possibilities.
Your test failed to check for synthetic opiates, which is common.
You were not taking the drug.
they mixed up samples.
There was an equivicol result and they did not send it for more advanced testing.
That's it.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
