I had a random seven panel drug test..because I am on probation

Customer Question

I had a random seven panel drug test..because I am on probation for a DUI. They use the 80hr..alcohol test...I have not consumed alcohol however,I am on HCG injections...I drink a gallon of water per day as instructed...I had two urine specimes taken two hours apart...Both test resulted in urine too diluted...Would the amount of water I drink be the cause of a too diluted result?

Drinking too much water ..if you did it in proximity to the urine test, would cause an identification of a dilute if you drank most of the gallon before the test, and you were drinking other beverages as well..yes certainly possible.
Kidney disease cold also produce a dilute urine in some cases

good luck

How long does alcohol remain in the bloodstream? Did the fact I had not had alcohol play a role in the test showing too diluted? What would have happened if I did have alcohol? I am told the 80 hour alcohol urine test is unbeatable no matter how much water one consumes....

Yes it is unbeatable but does not always detect for up to 80 hours.
This depends, so some times it is less.
Not having alcohol has nothing to do with the test being too dilute.
good luck

My question on how long does alcohol remain detectable in blood was not answered..Please advice...Also, I do not understand how the 80 hour test is unbeatable, yet, you stated my not having alcohol had no affect on the test...

Urine too diluted does not mean you tested positive for alcohol
The ETG alcohol test is reputed to be accurate up to 80 hours but is not always.
Dilution can reduce the amount of ETG in the test but with testing methods [doing an ETG to creatinine ratio] it is extremely difficult to cover up ETG with dilution.
however, testing protocols for drug testing do not take chances and any dilute sample for drug testing will be rejected as unacceptable.
But this does not mean you tested positive for ETG.

good luck again
