My Boston Terrier is 9 years old. He is not acting normal

Customer Question

Hi. My Boston Terrier is 9 years old. He is not acting normal for last couple of hours. Sort of lethargic. Keeps ears down and backs us as if afraid or scared. So unlike him. He is usually a very active energetic dog. I am wondering if I should take him to emergency vet or just keep observing him?

Has he had any new foods or treats?

Any vomiting or diarrhea?

Could he have gotten into anything unusual?

Is his belly hard to the touch?

Has he been urinating/defecating normally?

Eating/drinking normally?
