Hi, welcome to JustAnswer! My name is ***** ***** I’m an Expert on JustAnswer with over 20 years of experience as a veterinarian.I understand that you’re having an issue with your dog.You will be automatically receiving an option for a phone call from the system– if you would like this option, please let me know so I can opt out as I would not be able to take a phone call at the moment continuing in chat is perfectly fine for me.
I understand her right eye is secreting more white liquid than normal. It is typical sign of accumulating some bacteria in conjunctiva that is causing a superficial bacterial infection.
That is fine her behavior has been the same and she is not scratching or rubbing the eye, also you did not mentioned redness or cloudy cornea and I am not concerned about deeper eye issues with iris, increased pressure in the eye, inflamed cornea-ulcer for example and according the symptoms her conjunctiva is only affected at the moment.
It is recommended to use a broad spectrum eye antibiotic at home as Terramycin antibiotic ointment for dogs available over the counter or you can order it online.Make sure the area around the eye is clear and free from discharges, pull the lower lid down slightly, squeeze a thin strip of the ointment along the inner side of the lower eyelid and gently massage the closed eyelid to help disperse the ointment. It is recommended to apply the ointment 2-4 times daily for 7-10 days.
If she is not better within a week I would advice you to visit the vet.
I hope it helps. If you need anything further in this matter, please feel free to follow up with me on here.
