Ok. Since he hasn't had any vomiting or diarrhea so far, and is not having any panting or hyperactivity, I'm hoping it wasn't too much. I would continue to monitor him throughout the night (you might want to set a few alarms). If he doesn't have any vomiting or diarrhea, panting or hyperactivity by morning, then he should be okay. The milder signs of chocolate toxicity are vomiting/diarrhea, so if you see these, be on alert for the more serious signs of panting/hyperactivity and if you see those, get him to an emergency vet right away for treatment.
I think once every 2-3 hours would be enough.
