Greetings! This is Dr. Jeff.

Fortunately, there is not enough actual cocoa in that chocolate bunny if it was MILK chocolate to pose any life-threatening toxicity to even a small dog such as Buddy. Expect some hyperactivity due to the sugar and perhaps some diarrhea in the morning, but that should be about all. No intervention is needed. Hope this helps

It's dark chocolate, Lindt bunny

Does that make a difference!

It is dark chocolate, Lindt

There still will be no life-threatening toxicity if part was already missing. There may be restlessness and panting. Seek veterinary attention if there are tremors or seizure activity (which would be highly doubtful).

I hope you found this answer to be of some assistance. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Customer
thank you. Buddy is ok.

:-) glad to hear!
