Customer: My daughter left a bag of chocolate on the table and we seen on the camera that the dog ate one that we know of. But she licks the wrappers of the other ones that my daughter left on the table. She was sleeping next to the bag.
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How much does the dog weigh?
Customer: 18-19lbs
JA: When was this? Has she thrown up since eating the chocolate?
Customer: about 2 hours ago and no she has not
JA: And what's the dog's name and age?
Customer: Willow and she is 5 months old
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: Not that I can think of

Hello! I am sorry your pet is having problems. My name is***** I am a licensed veterinarian with Just Answer. Thank you for visiting the site.
Give 5mg of human over-the-counter Famotidine (Pepcid AC) or 1/2 Tums from human drug stores. If you give Tums make sure it does not have Xylitol in it! If it has Xylitol in it, it will say it under the Inactive Ingredients. If you don’t see Xylitol there, the Tums is okay to give. These are drugs for humans that can prevent an upset stomach in some cases. If your pet keeps vomiting, shaking, drooling, or not eating within 24 hours let me know or see a vet. Do you have any questions about what I said?
This is not usually toxic. Pepcid is to help with an upset stomach.

Only dark chocolate is toxic. Milk chocolate doesn't have much cocoa in it.

Thank you. So she should be okay?
Customer
I found 10 wrappers on the ground when I got home from work. Granted my daughter ate them as well. So not fully sure how many the dog ate other than the one we see her eat on the camera.

Yes she should be okay.

Let me know if you need more help. You can still chat with me later. Thank you for using Just Answer.
