Is he otherwise acting normally? Can you tell me the color of his gums?
It absolutely could be either of those. Is he vaccinated for parvovirus?
That is a little low for a dog. Normal should be above 98 degrees.
It’s good that the gums are pink though.
I think I would continue to try to feed him the bland diet with boiled chicken/hamburger and rice.
How much does he weigh?
So I would try giving 20 mg of pepcid every 12 hours. This can help settle the stomach too. It’s better than Pepto.
Pepto has low doses of aspirin in it.
Before would likely be best. If that doesn’t help then you will likely need to see your vet to be sure it is not parvovirus or anything else more serious.
I like Fortiflora as probiotics. I think they work a little better.
I would give it another 24 hours or so. If you aren’t seeing improvement then I would schedule an appointment,
No problem! Good luck! I hope that helps! Please remember to leave me a review!
Of course!
