Customer: My dog had about 1 g or less of raisin juice concentrate that was an ingredient in a piece of bread. Happened around 3pm. We are also grieving the loss of her brother dog that died today. Her belly is bloated and she doesn’t want to eat, but she also has been eating a lot of weird things last few days while I have been trying to get the other dog to eat and take pills. She weighs about 50 lbs. How much raisin juice concentrate is toxic to her or am I just paranoid because I lost the other one and maybe she’s not eating from depression?

Give 20mg of human over-the-counter Famotidine (Pepcid AC) or 2 Tums from human drug stores. It’s a drug for human and heartburn that can prevent upset stomach in some cases. If your pet starts vomiting, shaking, or drooling within 24 hours let me know or see a vet. Do you have any questions about what I said?

I understand. There are different sizes of Tums, are two times equal to 20 mg or is that just for the Pepcid AC?

I don't have either of those here, bud do have some ondancitron leftover from the dog that just passed (about same size). Can I substitute it for tums or should I run to walmart?
