Customer: Hi, I think my Staffy (2yo) drank a little very diluted oven cleaner today. He has vomited and now shaking a little. I have got him to drink more water which he vomited. It was likely about 3-4 hrs ago. I'm concerned... no drool.
JA: Hi there. I'll do all I can to help. How much did the Staffy drink? Do you know his weight?
Customer: It was very diluted and I didn't actually see it, so I am suspecting this is what occurred. Not much as I was monitoring him. He weighs about $30kg 30kg**
JA: The Expert will know if the Staffy will be okay to digest that. What's the Staffy's name and age?
Customer: Freddy
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: He is 2yo, nothing thanks

Greetings! Fortunately, the oven cleaner was diluted. The vomiting episode hopefully cleared the majority of the irritant cleaner. At this point, as long as Freddy appears alert, the only other recommendation is a trial of Pepcid (famotidine) to try and calm the stomach. Give Freddy 10 mg three times today, but get an appointment as soon as possible this afternoon if vomiting returns. Hope this will help a bit.

I see you haven't had a chance to get back to me but given what information you did provide, I believe this might be the information you are looking for. If this isn't what you were looking for or isn't helpful please feel free to come back and we can continue this conversation.
