Customer: My 7 month old dogue de Bordeaux is lethargic and her pupils are dilated, she won’t drink water. She did chew up about a 2 inch piece of a corn cob about 30 minutes before this started
JA: I'll do all I can to help. Has she thrown up since chewing the corn cob?
Customer: no.
JA: What's the dogie de Bordeaux's name?
Customer: Lily
JA: Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: she’s still intact so I’m not sure if this might be a menstruation issue too

As JustAnswer policy states, due to state law, vets cannot prescribe any medications via the internet without a physical VCPR (vet-client-patient-relationship) so if prescriptions are recommended, you can get these from your family vet.

This sounds like it could be serious. I am concerned with a GI blockage. Dog are unable to break down corn cobs, I would get your pet in to see the veterinarian as soon as possible

Would it block that fast?

It can cause issues pretty fast.

Okay. Thank you so much. I’m right by Purdue University Vet hospital. I’ll take here there

I wish you the best
