My dog had a...

My dog had a seizure on Saturday for the first time she 7 lb 6 oz. My vet told me that they don't treat on the 1st to keep a watch over her. She's drinking but only taking once a day the amount of 3 Cheerios in food. She's resting a lot which is good. But seems to have little Tremors going on. I don't know if I should take her to the 24-hour clinic being that is a holiday and no one's there. I'm afraid to Poker and prodded for nothing. And then just tell me to watch her just like my vet did. Is it safe to wait like this. A friend that is a vet tech told me that maybe a little volume would help her if I go to the 24-hour clinic instead of putting her on seizure medicine. What should I do

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. Seizures always look scary. Let's get you talking to the Veterinarian. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about your dog?

She is a healthy three-year-old mini pin with no health problems other than that seizure on Saturday.
