She swallowed 2mg tablet of tizanidine

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. The Expert will know if the dog will be able to digest that. What is the dog's name and age?

The puppy is 5lbs and is 13 weeks old

Veterinarian's Assistant: What is the dog's name?

Nova

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Nova?

We have already induced vomiting with 1tbs of peroxide, we believe she swallowed the tablet about 1 and 1/2 hours ago... her temp is 100.2 , she is somewhat lethargic- able to walk , hold up head and responds to her name eyes are open and wags tail

Tizanidine is one of the better tolerated skeletal muscle relaxants although isn't prescribed to dogs. It would take over 18 mg per pound of body weight to significantly intoxicate Nova (sedation, ataxia/"drunken sailor") which would be equivalent to 90 mg for her. Your having her vomit and her remaining relatively asymptomatic at this late date tells me that she'll remain safe and so no further treatment should be needed. Please continue to monitor her. A vet's help would be needed should her lethargy progress to profound depression which I believe unlikely to occur. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
