When addressing severe systemic fungal infections I might dose an 18 lb dog with as much as 7 mg per pound of body weight = 126 mg. 150 mg wouldn't be considered a significant overdose and because this drug is well tolerated in the majority of dogs, there's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. In studies, mice and rats were given an egregious dose of 450 mg per pound of body weight and survived. If any adverse effects arose at all, transient gastrointestinal distress in the form of inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea might be seen. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
