My 10 year labor dog if making ropey saliva from one side. Our vet checked his fever which was completely fine. He also suggested dental scalling of my pet. My pet only drolls whilr drinking water

He only drools when he drinks water. He is diabetic too. Can high blood sugar cause drooling??

It can. It's rather common for unregulated diabetics to experience nausea. Is he being treated for diabetes?
