These seeds contain cyanogenic (think:cyanide) compounds but your dog would need to ingest a wheelbarrow full of ground seed to become intoxicated. There's more of a risk for small intestine obstruction although a dog of his size should be able to pass that seed unaided. Although unlikely, obstruction is evidenced by persistent vomiting and/or anorexia. I would simply monitor him. Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
