Hello, I'm Dr. Deb and will do my best to help with this concern about Maxie.

While chocolate can certainly be toxic to dogs, much depends on the amount and type of chocolate ingested as well as the weight of the dog. Even though Moxie is on the smallish side, the ingestion of one chocolate morsel isn't going to cause any toxicity issues for her. In fact, there shouldn't be any issues at all since she would have had to swallow far more than this.

She'll be just fine and no action on your part will be necessary. I hope this helps to reassure you. Deb
