My 12 year old cockerpoo was fine when I left him at noon... When I came home at 6.. he was lathargic, I thought I woke him from a nap was all ...it progressively got worse, hunched back, shaking, cannot walk, won't eat or drink

Veterinarian's Assistant: Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Expert will know how to help the dog. What is the dog's name and age?

17 lbs

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about the dog?

No vomit, no diarrhea...garbage was thrown out when I left house
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
No phone call... Cody is not making any noise...
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
He is breathing.. quietly

Okay

This sounds like one of two things:

Sore back/disc disease

OR

Acute gastritis/pancreatitis

Unfortunately he is deteriorating and therefore I have to recommend that he be examined now

They will want to check his blood and urine and possible x-ray his back
