Don't give it a second thought. It takes nearly an ounce of pure milk chocolate (or 1/3 ounce of pure dark chocolate) per pound of body weight to intoxicate a dog with the theobromine in chocolate (vomiting, agitation, tremors soon after ingestion). There wasn't that amount of chocolate in that croissant. As with ingesting anything unusual transient gastrointestinal distress in the form of inappetence, vomiting and/or diarrhea can arise but ice wasn't intoxicated and will remain safe. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
