I am very sorry to see that you have not received a response to your initial question before now. I just came online and found that your question had not been addressed. How is your companion at this time? When was she last bred? How long have you owned the puppy and how old is the puppy? When are these attacks occurring?

Lilly is 2 1/2, this will be her first breeding and the puppy in the house is 11 week old bulldog and has only been in the home for 2 weeks and the attacks are happening in the evening
Dog Veterinarian: PitRottMommy, Veterinary Nurse replied 3 months ago

Do you mean that this will be her first breeding or her first litter?

When was she last bred?

What is happening when she's attacking the puppy?

Has he been injured thus far or is he being warned to leave her alone with her behavior?

This is her second heat her first time ever being bred and nothing seems to be starting this fight it's yesterday night he was walking to his bed and she was laying on the side and he walked over her foot and Bam the fight started

It's not uncommon for females to experience a surge of hormones following being bred. So, if this was a recent successful breeding, she could be experiencing hormonal changes and simply reacting accordingly. The changes in behavior for females can vary from becoming very affectionate/matronly to becoming downright grumpy (arguably, not unlike human women, I suppose). It would be wise to have her examined to be sure she's not experiencing discomfort of any variety which might be causing her to want to be more defensive (you'll want to know this before her puppies arrive, for sure). I do think you have good reason to separate her from the bulldog puppy since her reactions are tending toward being unpredictable. This could potentially escalate to her harming the puppy or worse.
