MY 10 YR old rescue Lab has been on phenobarbital for 12…

Customer Question
MY 10 YR old...

MY 10 YR old rescue Lab has been on phenobarbital for 12 days. His dose was just cut in half from 60 mg twice a day to 30mg twice a day. This is just the 2nd day of the new lessened dosage. He is doing so so much better, however he is still walking in a circle, mostly to the right? Is this cause for concern?

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. Is the Lab bleeding a lot?

No not at all

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the Lab?

He has been blind since Aug of 2017. He just had his first seizures about Valentine's day night, then again the next morning. That is when we took him to the Vet and he started on the phenobarbital
