Welcome to JustAnswer.com! My name is***** and I have been a licensed veterinarian for 10 years. I would be happy to answer your question. How long has she had the muscle knot and is she being treated with any medication?

The knot i just found this morning when trying to figure out why she's limping and no she's not on any treatment yet. This just started this morning
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Don't call. It's easier for me to text

No worries, the system automatically offers phone calls. The muscle knot might be the cause or at least related to the limping. Is she putting any weight on the leg at all?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question

Okay, so I doubt it's broken. The main thing we need to figure out is whether she has a soft tissue injury (muscle pull, for example), or a hard tissue injury (problem with the joints or some problem with the bone other than a fracture). Hopefully it is only a muscle pull, in which case your vet would treat with an anti-inflammatory pain medication and possibly a muscle relaxer. Your vet may also recommend doing x-rays of that leg to rule out things like arthritis and (hopefully not), a bone tumor.

She does like to jump at the fence. Thank you. If it continues like this tomorrow, I'll get her to her vet

You're welcome. I hope she heals quickly. If I have been helpful, I would greatly appreciate your 5-star rating. I would also be happy to continue our conversation if you have further questions or concerns.
