Sometime I noticed Friday morning that my dog had vomited…

Customer Question
Sometime I noticed Friday...

Sometime I noticed Friday morning that my dog had vomited throughout the night. And turned his nose a way from food. Throughout that day he continued to vomit the water he drank and any food he attempted to drink. I also noticed that same morning when i took him out to so his business, he was a little off balance and fell, like he tripped. His gait gradually declined throughout the day and when he tries to stand he could for a few moments, maybe a minute and than his back legs would give a way. He now had a seizure. I am quite sure he is dehydrated. I work in EMS and i know how to treat his dehydration with some IV fluid and seizures you cant do nothing for unless i give him so versed, which i dont have any and he only had the one seizure, just a few minutes ago, lasted about 2-3 mins. I did some research online. Him being a rhodesian ridgeback, he could have DM, which he is young, roughly 2 years young. Wobblers or Vestibular syndrome. I dont think its anything toxic. I have a total of 4 dogs. Ranging from ages 9, 5, & 1.3. They go where he has been, been exposed and drink the same water and eat the same food. They are all fine. And are separated from him since this morning. Tomorrow being Saturday will be a little hard trying to find a vet. And me not being a vet, what is your opinion?

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. Did you see what your dog ate?

As for as i know, nothing. They have their own dog room (doggy safe), been in the same backyard for a year. I cant see it being anything he ingested.

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about your dog?

He was a normal, energetic, greedy dog, playing with the pack Thursday. This was just all sudden, starting sometime Friday early morning.

He doesn't appear to be completely recovered from the seizure but is not too postical to where he was able to know who I am and wagged his tail when he saw me and I spoke with him. But he obviously does not feel well. His gums are still pink.
Breathing doesn't seem compromised.

He just had another seizure. Less than 3 minutes. But this time he howled during it.
