Hi. My name is***** Thank you for your question. What is her name? How old is she? What breed is she? Is this getting better or worse? Has she had any vomiting?
Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question

She has not had vomiting, just started 30 minutes ago. She will let me palpate her stomach.
That is good that she’s letting you palpate her stomach. What breed is she? Licking lips and swallowing hard can be seen with nausea cases. If she ate something new, that could be a part of this. If she’s one to chew on things, swallowing frequently can be seen with something being caught in the esophagus. If this isn’t improving, then this would seem more concerning.

She is a Labrador. I filled her water bowl. She drank a little. Now laying in the bed.
If she is getting more comfortable and able to rest, then she may have just had a little irritated stomach. It is good that she drank some and hasn’t had any vomiting. Time and rest be the key here. I wouldn’t want to see vomiting start up or her not eating say tomorrow through the day.

She seems to be improving. Just walked over to her water bowl and started drinking.
I would have hopes that this was due to something upsetting her stomach a little and it has settled. If she continues to be comfortable and nothing further is seen, that would be great!
