We have a 7 year...
We have a 7 year old poodle mix, who by all outward signs seems healthy.
The problem is that mostly off and on for the past month or so, she has had very loose bowel movements.
We have been feeding her white rice and chicken breasts for weeks, but have seen little change. She normally eats dry food (Avoderm), but we've only given it to her sparingly so far this month.Looking for advice before we go to our vet. Anything we should try first? I'd like to avoid taking her in and finding out that some simple thing should have been tried first. Also before we do go to see the vet, should I consider calling and taking in a stool sample?Any suggestions would be helpful.

I'd prefer to use this format rather than incur the additional cost ($58) thru a phone call
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Sorry, that was $28

Great

Lets give Imodium at 0.1 mg/kg three times a day for 4-5 days time

The i would like you to buy a prescription HYPOALLERGENIC dog food->From any veterinary office

I like the hydrolyzed soy products as no chance of reacting to them

Lets see how that works and it avoids you having to go in

Update me in a week

Okay?

Paul
