Thanks

Okay didnt take long

When dogs vomit they create a lot of pressure within the stomach

This pressure causes some of the little blood vessels to burst

This is quite common and nothing to be worried about

My concern is what caused the vomiting- any ideas?

Thanks for your help.
Rocco was given the Prilosec. We fed him a little prescription diet ID or DI. He started having diarrhea. Yesterday. This morning we found blood in the stool. Last night to help the little guy out we gave him an Imodium 2mg

Good call on the Imodium

I would add 2 tablespoons of pumpkin to each meal for next few days

Nothing to worry about with the blood in the stool?

That is acute colitis

The pumpkin will deal with it
