My 9 yr old pitbull, has had a severe bacterial skin

Customer Question
My 9 yr old...

My 9 yr old pitbull, has had a severe bacterial skin infection all over his body for the last 2 months. We have gone to numerous vets 4 to be exact.. He just stopped eating as of yesterday voluntarily...now his stool has some bloody mucus

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. There are all sorts of infections the Pitbull can pick up. I'll have you talk to the Veterinarian who'll sort out what is wrong and help you decide what to do about it. What is the Pitbull's name?

Pando

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Pando?

He has lost alot of weight and none of the meds or treatment has helped him so far

I am very sorry to see that you have not received a response to your initial question before now. I just came online and found that your question had not been addressed.

How is your companion at this time?

Have there been any changes to the diet? New food, including a change of flavors or protein source within the same brand? New treats? Bones? Has any human food been fed? Torn up toys or trash? Stressful changes to the environment? Addition of medication?

Can you share pictures of what you're seeing with Pando's skin?

What medications have been given that have or have not worked for him?
