My 40 lb dog ate 3, 500 mg of Metformin total 1500mg. Looks like it may have been about 4 hours ago. So far she is fine. What should I watch for ?

It was only 1500 mg total

Okay so far so good for Millie

We would be watching for lethargy, diarrhea, pale mucous membranes and hindlimb tremors

IF we are going to see signs it should have been by now

BUT we want to watch till 8 hours have passed

NO treatment needed
