My dog swallowed a beef steak bone on Saturday night and has been constipated since. He seems to be about 80% of normal but I saw a couple drops of blood when he was trying to go this morning. Is this a reason enough to take him to the animal hospital?

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. The Expert will know if your dog will be able to digest that. What is the dog's name and age?

Dogs name is ***** ***** he is 4 1/2 years old

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Levi?

No. He seems fine except for the constipation. He is drinking plenty of water but has no appetite
