Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question

Which meds were ingested by Rossi, please?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Vetmedin 2.5mg 1/2
enalapril 2.5mg 1 1/2
Furosemide 20mg 1

Thank you. Assuming that Rossi weighs as much or more than Ozzie and Rossi doesn't suffer from a heart condition in which Vetmedin might be contraindicated, Rossi should remain safe albeit temporarily urinating more than usual from the furosemide. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.

Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Rossi weighs less because Ozzie is retaining fluid

If without that fluid their weights are close, Rossi isn't in danger. Please continue our conversation if you wish.

Thanks so much! Ozzie just had trouble with his meds cz very few teeth left so Rossi grabbed the pill pockets

I understand. Rossi has been feeling left out because he hasn't been given those treats! I can't set a follow-up in this venue so please return to our conversation - even after rating - with an update at your convenience. You can bookmark this page for ease of return.
