Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question

ok....and your dog is a maltipoo?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question

did the dragging of the legs occur after your husband stepped on your dog?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
No. He was fine running. Like always.
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
It's after he started with medication
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
He chases cars and runs all day long. Lots of energy and fun. We are sad

That medication will not cause leg dragging.......your dog's legs are dragging because he likely has a disc in his back that is putting pressure on his spinal cord......

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
what will need to happen.

When discs in the back move they put pressure on the spinal cord......and this has to be attended to immediately

How long has your dog been like this?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 4 months ago
Two days

Your dog needs to go to the ER right now or he may never walk again.....
