She was not very...

She was not very interested in eating yeasterday, she is diabetic. She finally ate her morning meal (normally eats at 5am ish) approximately at 1p.m. My husband gave her her morning insulin shot, as he said she did eat a dog biscuit and a few bites of food. Dinner time is 5 pm. She did not eat, was t interested at all. I did not give insulin shot. We had an out of state friend visit, which upset her, barking, etc. we left for dinner at 5:30 and returned at 7:30. She had vomited twice in the house. I took her outside and she vomited twice more.

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. The Expert will know if the dog will be able to digest that. What is the dog's name?

Peanut

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Peanut?

She is blind and also has had pancreatitis, she is not vomiting, but she is trembling on her hind side

Ok, thank you, ***** *****

I understand the difficulty you're having at this time. In general, one missed meal shouldn't indicate stopping insulin, two consecutive missed meals should indicate halving the dose, and three consecutive missed meals indicates stopping insulin administration and consulting with Peanut's vet. Her current behavior suggests that she's hyperglycemic which would be expected after not receiving her insulin. Her inappetence yesterday can indicate recrudescence (relapse without cure in between events) of her pancreatitis but inappetence isn't a sign of any one particular disorder. Unless she has normalized...including eating well...it would be best to have her vet take a look at her. Please let me know if that's the case.
