This could be an imbalance of her bacterial flora in her colon, or there may be abnormal bacteria colonizing her colon leading to lesions in the wall and the bleeding and diarrhea.

Echo also may have picked up some intestinal parasites like hookworms (blood sucking parasites) or giardia that can cause bloody stools.

I would recommend calling your regular veterinarian tomorrow morning and getting her an appointment and then having them check her red blood cell counts and a fecal test so we can see what we are dealing with.

For today feed a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice and if you can give me her weight I can get you a dose of Imodium (anti-diarrheal for her that is over the counter) so we can get her some relief for today.

If Echo starts vomiting tonight she may need to be brought to an emergency clinic before tomorrow so keep a very close eye on her.
