Hello, this is Dr. Schmidt. Thank you for using JustAnswer. About how long ago do you think she ate the chocolate bar and about how much chocolate did she eat?

I left the house around 6pm came back 0950pm
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
It had to happen around that time
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Schmidt, Dog Veterinarian replied 6 months ago
Ok, unfortunately it would be too late to induce vomiting to get some of the chocolate out of her system at this point. I would recommend taking her to the emergency vet tonight so they can administer activated charcoal to help bind up the toxins in the chocolate to help mitigate the adverse effects of the chocolate on her body.

she seem like she ok
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Schmidt, Dog Veterinarian replied 6 months ago
Ok, the first signs you would see is vomiting and diarrhea. I would watch for those and if you see those symptoms tonight, I would definitely take her in to the emergency vet tonight. I can't give you a 100% accurate prediction of what the effects will be without knowing the size of the chocolate bar or the size of the dog, but usually they will start with vomiting and diarrhea within a few hours of eating the chocolate.
