Hi

Dr. Paul Brazzell here

We are a dosage of 8.0 mg/kg that is the cutoff point where we can see some side effects like vomiting or diarrhea

How long ago did she eat the pill?

Paul

25-30 minutes
Dog Veterinarian: DocPaul, Veterinarian replied 6 months ago

Okay lets get that pill out of there

Do you have hydrogen peroxide?

If so please give 5 tablespoons by mouth now

BUT before you give it please feed her some food

Then induce vomiting

Okay?

Paul

is that necessary as much as she weighs? she seems fine so far. hasn't she already started digesting it?
Dog Veterinarian: DocPaul, Veterinarian replied 6 months ago

Not within 25-30 minutes she hasnt

The margin of safety on the drug are pretty small

I dont want to take a chance of her developing vomiting, diarrhea or gastric ulceration

But if you want to watch her at home that is fine

Please keep me updated

Paul
