1- How many ounces or grams of chocolate did he eat?

2- Type of chocolate (milk, dark, etc.)?

3- How much does he weigh?

5- How long has it been since he ate it?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Customer reply replied 6 months ago
1- 5grams
2- milk
3- 2kg
4- about 10 minutes
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Peter, Veterinarian replied 6 months ago

Friend, chocolate is toxic to dogs, but, toxicity depends on the amount consumed, type of chocolate and weight of the dog. In this case, 5 grams of milk chocolate will not be life-threatening or systemically toxic to a 2kg dog, he will be fine.

My goal is to provide you with excellent service. If you have any follow-up questions don't hesitate to ask. If finished, please take a moment to rate my service it is how I get compensated. See you again soon!
