stomach upset around 12 pm today mountain time, dog seemed lathargic took his temp. 103.5. Called vet she came to the house examined him and gave him a shot of 5 mg metoclopramide. about an hour later I checked him and tried to give him some med the vet left. When I opened his mouth his jaws seemed clenched, he then went into s seizure type event. I got him to emeregncy clinic and when the vet checked his out he had another event. His tongue is swollen but not into his throat, per vet sedating him and checking down his throat.

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please let me know if you still need help. May I have an update on Tristan, please? Is he currently with the ER vet awaiting transfer to his regular vet?

He is at the emergency clinic I am there now getting a update
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Michael Salkin, Veterinarian replied 6 months ago

Good to hear. Two seizures within a 24 hour period describes clustering and clustering can presage status epilepticus which is the state in which seizure activity doesn't stop until I heavily sedate or anesthetize my patient. If you want to conintue consulting after the update please return to our conversation.
