Is she develops diarrhea withhold food for 12 hours to let her gastrointestinal tract rest. During the food fast she can have all the watery she wants but no food.
Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Gabby, Dog Veterinarian replied 6 months ago
After the 12 hour fast offer small amounts of plain cooked chicken and rice. That is easier to digest than dog food.

If the diarrhea becomes watery, or you see blood in the diarrhea, then she will need to see a vet.

She is a large dog, and she just ate one ex-lax, so I am hoping you will not see too much as far as symptoms.

If needed, you can give her 2 tablespoons or 2 tablets of pepto bismol every 8 hours as needed for diarrhea.
