Hello, this is Dr. Schmidt. Thank you for using JustAnswer. Ifor it has been less than an hour since she ate the turtle candy, I would recommend giving her 1/2 tablespoon of peroxide to see if you can induce voniting. If it's been longer than that, I would start some supportive therapy. I would give her Pepcid (0.25mg/lb) every 12 hours for a few days and feed her boiled chicken and white rice as a bland diet. If she starts vomiting excessively, I would take her in to the vet for some IV fluids. Let me know if you have any other questions.

We don't have a Vet plus we really can't afford one right now. It's been 12 hours she seems better however I gave her some water and she threw it up. Is that normal?
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Schmidt, Dog Veterinarian replied 6 months ago
it is normal even though it's been 12 hours. Her GI tract will probably take a day or twould to go back to normal. I would give the Pepcid, chicken and rice, and you can also offer some Pedialyte to help with hydration as well.
