Old dog not acting...

Old dog not acting right shakes a lot has been known to have mini seizures. He shakes throughout the day but not all the time, still eats and drinks. Is this just old age?

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. Seizures always look scary. Let's get you talking to the Veterinarian. What is the dog's name and age?

Bacon she 12

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Bacon?

He does have some masses on his side and a good size one in his groin. Has glaucoma also

Ok

So shaking behavior like you are describing is usually due to pain or cognitive decline or both....this is a reason to take your dog to the vet and have a good physical exam done along with some bloodwork to try and get to the bottom of this....

Explain cognitive decline please
Dog Veterinarian: Dr B, Veterinarian replied 4 months ago

sure, cognitive decline is basically doggie dementia or doggie Alzheimers. Dogs get this just like people do...
