My 6yo intact male lab Toohey hasn't really eaten in about 2…

Customer Question
Hi... My 6yo intact...

Hi... My 6yo intact male lab Toohey hasn't really eaten in about 2 weeks. I've taken him to two different vets. The first did xrays and some blood tests and found nothing. At the second vet, they did another physical exam and fed him a can of wet food and he ate the whole thing in front of them.. since then he'll only eat bits of that food but he'll eat cooked eggs or chicken if we give it to him. I've been told there could be a female in heat in our area but 2 weeks seems like a really long time...

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. The Expert will know if the lab will be able to digest that. What is the lab's name?

Toohey

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Toohey?

When he eats eggs and/chicken he does pass them fine... at the very beginning he had diarrhea and vomitted a few times(once to the point of dry heaving in the front yard)... he vomited earlier today in the yard.. nothing in it.. just yellow bile..

Do you have a copy of the bloodwork to share?

Is Toohey on any medications at this time?

Have there been any changes to the diet? New food, including a change of flavors or protein source within the same brand? New treats? Bones? Has any human food been fed? Torn up toys or trash? Stressful changes to the environment?

I don't have a copy of the bloodwork at this time, I will request and send once I recieve.Toohey had been on Royal Canine SO as he had a bladder stone about a year ago. One day about 2 weeks ago.. he just decided he wasn't eating. I took him to the vet after a few days of not eating. They did the X-ray and the bloodwork at this time. They did not find anything..but no stones this time around either... so that's good.We did not notice that the dogs had gotten into anything.. .and normally its impossible to not notice if they had. The only human food the dogs ever get are regular Cheerios that my daughter drops while she's walking around the house. Environmental changes.. my wife is pregnant with our second child.. the first time around, he got obsessed with destroying her underwear. I was initially thinking this may be the issue, but two weeks seems like a really long time for him to not be in the mood for his food. Also, he will eat eggs. I tried plain chicked with rice... He ate the chicken but wouldn't touch the rice. So I've basically been making him eggs in the morning and at night for the past few days.
