As long as you're not seeing hyperkeratosis (excess keratin - a structural protein in skin), crusting, inflammation and pain associated with the pink, you're seeing a normal pigmentation pattern.

(Repost) As long as you're not seeing hyperkeratosis (excess keratin - a structural protein in skin), crusting, inflammation and pain associated with the pink, you're seeing a normal pigmentation pattern. Those changes are consistent with autoimmune skin disease (pemphigus complex). Please respond with further questions or concerns if you wish.
