Customer Question
Hi, My dog...

Hi, My dog is nearly 15 and was at the vet yesterday am for GI distress. She essenitally is now dying and has started moaning. I want to ease her pain but don't know what kind of meds to give. I do have oxy in the house for a family member who had surgery last year. Lucy weighs about 25 lbs. If I crush an oxy (5-325) and give her some on her gums do you think it could help? I don't want to hurt her, just ease the suffering that has started her moaning.

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about your dog?

She has been awesome and healthy her whole life. Vet agreed yesterday that this may be the end. She can no longer walk tonight and is moaning/and was incontinent of dark dark urine.

Veterinarian's Assistant: Have you looked to see if there is a wound on their foot?

No wound - she can no longer use one back limb and the other 3 are 'iffy' when she tries to move. We are holding her ok

I'm capable of injecting our dog if there is an injectable pain medicine that I can get from CVS or walgreens.
