My dog had pancreatitis...

My dog had pancreatitis a few weeks back and was hospitalized for a few days. Vet said bloodwork showed it was just an acute case and to watch his diet for a while. Tonight, while we were out, he jumped up on the counter and licked a cookie tray that we had cooked bacon on, thus consuming quite a bit of bacon grease. We are worried this will flare up his pancreatitis. My husband wants to try to make him vomit it back up, but it's been about an hour and a half or so since he likely licked the grease ...
