I am sorry to hear that Zeus got some marijuana. There is no antidote for this; you just have to let it wear off. In some cases, dogs are so affected that they do not eat and drink and become dehydrated and we put them on IV fluids until they are better.

If you lift his lip, are his gums pink in color? Can you get him to drink?

Ask Your Own Dog Veterinary Question

His gums are still.pink yes, we are still.trying to force him to drink water. My son has also just informed me that said weed was soaked in pure unrefined coconut oil
Dog Veterinarian: Rebecca, Dog Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

Coconut oil can cause diarrhea, but should not be toxic.

Good his gums are pink. Test him for dehydration by gently pinching skin over his shoulders and releasing; the skin should snap back into place in less than one second. If it takes longer, he may need supplemental fluids.

Do not be worried about taking him to a veterinarian; they will not question what happened or report anyone for having marijuana.
