Sharon, I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. Please let me know if you still need help. May I have an update on your dogs, please?

Small pieces of plastic wrap should pass through the gastrointestinal tract unaided. The wrap is nontoxic as well. Large pieces could potentially ball up and obstruct the small intestine. The hallmarks of obstruction are persistent vomiting and/or anorexia.
