Suspect female Bichon dog...

Suspect female Bichon dog ate chocolate candy late last night from 1 am to 6:30 am this morning. Found evidence of her eating the chocolate this morning.

1- We may be in different times zones so giving me time does not help to determine how long since she ate it. How many hours since she ate the chocolate?

2- Type of chocolate (dark, milk, etc.)?

3- How many ounces did she eat?

4- How much does she weigh?

5- Any symptoms?

US Central Time Zone. Suspect Lulu ate chocolate sometime in the following time period 1:30 am to 6:30.Lulu weighs 18.3 lbs.
Milk chocolate - suspect 20 gramsNo apparent symptoms.
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Peter, Veterinarian replied 8 months ago

Friend, chocolate toxicity in dogs is very dependent on the amount consumed, type of chocolate and weight of the dog. In this case, 20 grams of milk chocolate is not going to be toxic to an 18.3 lbs Lulu; at worse she may develop mild vomiting or diarrhea otherwise she will be fine.

My goal is to provide you with excellent service. If you have any follow-up questions don't hesitate to ask. If finished, please take a moment to rate my service it is how I get compensated. See you again soon!
