Was the acepromazine 5 or 10 mg, please? How much does Ranger weigh?

10 mg and he's about 20 lbs
Dog Veterinarian: Dr. Michael Salkin, Veterinarian replied 7 months ago

Thank you. He ingested 0.5 mg/lb which is well within the anecdotal dosage recommendations of 0.2 - 1 mg/lb. Ranger should become quite sedate but will remain safe. Acepromazine has a very wide safety range. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
