She swollowed a hook about a week and a half ago. she seemed fine for the last week. about 5 days ago she started vomiting every other day or so. could it be related. she seems totally fine other wise

I would be happy to help you!

Well the first thing I would do is get an x-ray to find out IF the hook is still in there and if so where it is.

If it has poked a hole in the bowel then there could be a localized peritonitis

Once we have the x-ray we can push on with treatment either for the hook or for whatever is causing the vomiting

if it were in her bowel wouldnt she be having problems with bowel movements? What are the chances that the hook passes on its own. do you have a ball park range of how much it is to remove something like this?

Not necessarily. It would not block ingesta from going through but could cause problems locally
